K-9 locates ‘substantial amount’ of cocaine, crack during Lewiston drug bust
LEWISTON (WGME) -- Lewiston Police say a K-9 helped lead them to what described as a substantial amount of cocaine and crack on Wood Street.
Police say Steven Pelletier is facing aggravated drug trafficking charges.
Police say a K-9 named Scout and his handler, Officer Kevin Gagne, were instrumental in locating and seizing a substantial amount of cocaine and crack, a rifle, suspected drug proceeds and other drug trafficking evidence.
Pelletier was arrested late Wednesday night after a multi-agency investigation.
He's being held at Androscoggin County Jail on $20,000.
