Man allegedly savagely stabbed Portland cab driver after someone called him a name
PORTLAND (WGME) -- Court documents have revealed new details in the savage stabbing of a Portland cab driver.
According to court paperwork obtained by CBS 13, the suspect, Justin Kristiansen, admitted to police he stabbed Joe Kamzee after his arrest last week.
In a police report, Kristiansen told investigators he attacked Kamzee because he was angry after someone called him a name earlier in the evening.
Kristiansen also told police he suffers from mental health issues.
Kamzee’s injuries were so severe he had to be rushed to a Boston hospital.
