PORTLAND (WGME) -- Portland police are investigating three separate burglaries at different businesses, all on the same road.

They say this all happened on Auburn Street, spanning from May 15 through Monday.

Police say last Tuesday, an H&R Block was broken into, but no money was taken.

Loretta's Barbershop was hit next on the same day.

Some cash was stolen.

Then overnight Sunday, police say windows and a cash register were smashed at Lib's Dairy Treats, but no one got away with money.

The owners there say they'll buy a new register and security door, but say they wish they did this sooner.

The owners of Lib's say they don't expect the break-in to impact business.

Police say they're not sure if the three break-ins are connected, but add patrols are being stepped up in the area.

If you noticed anything unusual around these businesses in the last week, call police.
