Brunswick musical heading to another theater
BRUNSWICK (WGME) -- A World War I musical that was written and debuted in Brunswick is heading to another theater.
The musical was the idea of Sam Kelly, a Vietnam War veteran who read a book on the "Anzacs," the Australian-New Zealand Army Corps.
They adapted the story and songs and debuted the musical at the theater project in Brunswick on the 100th anniversary of the entering World War I.
Kelly says a theater in Pennsylvania will perform the show next year.
He says it's keeping his Broadway hopes alive.
