PORTLAND (WGME) – The Maine chapter of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association is making a difference with an upcoming concert for veterans.

The association gets together to ride, but also to help each other out.

Ninety percent of the members have been in combat, and they say they don't always come home the same.

Next month, the combat veterans group is hosting a concert at the Cumberland Fairgrounds, featuring the local Maine band "Fire in the Hole" and headliners "Madison Rising," a patriotic rock band.

All the proceeds will benefit veterans in Maine.

They also offer emotional support and resources. It's all about making a difference for those who have served, and now, you can, too.

The Rock Ride Remembrance Concert is August 11 at 7 p.m. at the Cumberland Fairgrounds.
