Bush joins fellow veterans for pancake breakfast

KENNEBUNKPORT (WGME) -- Former President George H. W. Bush spent Saturday morning enjoying a pancake breakfast with fellow veterans at American Legion Post 159 in Kennebunkport.

Bush returned to the family's summer home almost a week ago, after he left a hospital stay in Houston due to an infection.

Bush served in the US Navy during World War II.

Bush tweeted Gen. Brent Scowcroft, who worked in his administration as his National Security Adviser,
