OLD ORCHARD BEACH (WGME) -- After a couple of cold weather delays, hundreds jumped into the ocean Saturday for the 30th annual Lobster Dip.

The annual fundraiser for Maine Special Olympics is traditionally held on New Year's Day. But frigid conditions prompted two postponements.

The reward? Above freezing air temperatures and a water temperature approaching 40 degrees.

A total of 277 people, including CBS 13's Jeff Peterson, went into the water and raised more than $,116,000..
