1 killed, 1 seriously injured in Maine ATV crash

BINGHAM (WGME) -- A New Hampshire man was killed and another was seriously injured in a weekend ATV crash in Bingham, according to the Maine Warden Service.

Game wardens responded around 8:30 p.m. Sunday to the fatal ATV crash on the Interconnecting Trail System (ITS) 87.

Wardens say 55-year-old Blake Barker, of New Hampshire, was operating the ATV south on ITS 87 along the Kennebec River in Bingham when the crash took place.

Wardens say 55-year-old Charles Goodstein, of New Hampshire, was a passenger on the ATV.

Goodstein was died at the scene. Barker was found unresponsive.

Barker was taken by Life Flight to Eastern Maine Medical Center and was last known to be in critical condition, according to wardens.

Game wardens continue to investigate the incident. No other details have been released.
