Car hits parked cars, house in South Portland

SOUTH PORTLAND (WGME) - A woman is under arrest after her car veered off the road, hitting a fence, two parked cars and a house in South Portland Sunday night.

It happened at around 9:45 p.m.

South Portland police say a woman's car went off the road on Evans St. near Highland Rd. where it plowed through a fence, hit two parked cars and a structure.

Police say the female suspect originally took off from the scene, but she is now in custody.

Police believe alcohol and speed may have been a factor in the crash.

No one was hurt.
