CONWAY (WGME) -- The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office says that the human remains found at a sewage facility in Conway were the result of a natural miscarriage.
Officials say it appears that the remains arrived to the pumping station through the sewer system.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that the remains were a fetus who had not taken a breath.
They determined that the pregnancy loss was the result of a spontaneous natural miscarriage.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are still trying to find the mother to check on her well-being.
