Kittery man accused of pinning man's legs with car in Mass.


LOWELL (WGME) -- A Kittery man is accused of hitting a man with a car on purpose, pinning him between two vehicles.

Around 5:30 p.m. Friday in Lowell, Massachusetts, police say the two men got into a fight, and that one of them drove into the other, pinning his legs up against a vehicle.

Police say the victim was bleeding profusely and that a witnesses made a tourniquet to stop the bleeding.

Officers charged 28-year-old Andrew Melendez of Kittery with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.
