NH woman convicted on 17 counts of animal cruelty
OSSIPEE, NH (WGME) -- Christina Fay has been found guilty of 17 animal cruelty charges.
Eighty-four dogs were seized from her Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, home back in June.
Authorities say the animals were living in filth and suffered from health problems.
Fay says she loved the dogs, and compared them to an art collection. She'd been acquiring them to breed and sell since 2014.
Right now the dogs are in the care of the New Hampshire chapter of the Humane Society of the United States.
