Bobsleds are racing down Lake Placid's Olympic track all day long, and almost anyone can experience it.
For this ride, we're starting halfway down the Olympic track, but first we have to suit up, and safety is a top priority on this slick, cold day.
This sled was modified from those in the Olympics to handle passengers.
With a quick push, we're off.
Just seconds after the first curve, that’s when you really start to feel it.
We hit a high speed of 60 mph, a lot slower than the 90 miles per hour for Olympians, but you could still feel those forces as we hit the curves.
Less than a minute later, we crossed the finish.
No gold medal time, but a gold medal experience.
