Searching for 'Jimmy:' Woman hopes to find owner of 1982 Biddeford class ring
BIDDEFORD (WGME) – The search is on for someone named “Jimmy" who graduated from Biddeford High School more than 40 years ago.
Diane Milliard posted a picture of "Jimmy's” 1982 class ring on Facebook.
She says she found it in a filing cabinet at Biddeford City Hall when she worked for the school department.
When she retired, she took it home and put it in a drawer.
She recently rediscovered it and realized it was a Biddeford ring, not a Kennebunk ring like she originally thought.
Now she's hoping her post will bring someone forward.
“Someone will know someone, a classmate, someone else, as it was, we had very large classes back then, so there was probably well over 200 people in that class,” Millard said. “Remember who went by Jimmy? It's really specific, Jimmy, not Jim, not James, and that someone might remember their friend and maybe get it back to them.”
The inside of the ring has an inscription of "JJB," which Milliard says narrows it down to two possibilities for the class of 1982.
