STATEWIDE (WGME) -- A storm is on tap for Maine Tuesday into Wednesday.
Tuesday will be cloudy with light snowfall moving in during the afternoon.
The snow becomes heavier at night and could remain heavy through Wednesday morning.
Precipitation type should be almost entirely snow other than a chance for some brief mix along the coast on Wednesday.
The coast should expect 6-10 inches.
Inland communities should expect 8-12 inches. Even higher accumulations are possible in the mountains.
The Wednesday morning commute will be tricky.
