Two teens accused of damaging over 30 properties in Maine, NH
SOUTH BERWICK (WGME) – More than 30 properties across two states were vandalized by a high-powered BB gun, according to Somersworth, New Hampshire police.
They say they arrested the men they believe are responsible.
In South Berwick, two properties were damaged on Liberty Street, and police say they agree with the findings of Somersworth police on who is responsible.
In a joint investigation, police arrested 18-year-old Sean Jacques, and 19-year-old Jared Pucillo-Driscoll.
They charged both men with felony criminal mischief for the more than 34 properties damaged in Somersworth, New Hampshire.
In South Berwick, damage is still visible at the two properties hit.
New Hampshire police say they estimate the total damage at about $15,000, but Maine police say the actual number is a lot higher when you factor in all the other places hit.
"It was a rampage through the New Hampshire and southern Maine area: the Berwicks, Somersworth NH, Dover NH, so there's an aggregate figure there that's really high in damage," South Berwick Police Chief Dana Lajoie said.
South Berwick police say they will be filing former charges early next week.
