Woman critically injured in Saco shooting at same address as Monday murder arrest
SACO (WGME) -- Maine State Police says a woman was shot Tuesday morning at 103 Temple Street in Saco.
Police say the shooting happened around 7:44 a.m.
The woman was taken to the hospital, where she is in critical but stable condition.
Police say the incident is still under investigation and that there is no danger to the public.
The address on Temple Street is the same address where25-year-old Lorenze A. Labonte was arrested on murder charges Monday night.
Labonte is charged with the murder of 27-year-old Ahmed Sharif of Lewiston.
Multiple neighbors expressed shock over just how much has happened so recently.
"Everybody going by asking, ‘What happened last night? What happened today?’ and I said, 'I can tell you what happened last night, but I have no idea what happened today,’" Saco resident Linda Pipher said.
