WESTBROOK (WGME) – The world-famous ice disk is reforming in Westbrook.
It's a spectacle that gained international attention two years ago.
The disk is located in the Presumpscot River.
It's pretty large already, but the ice is very thin.
A previous ice disk formed in 2019, spinning on the water for about two weeks.
Back then, city officials said it formed by the churning water current created by the waterfall just 100 feet north of the disk.
